India’s Kuruvilla beats Pak’s Zafar to enter CWG women’s singles plate final

Indian squash player Sunayna Kuruvilla beat Pakistan’s Faiza Zafar 3-0 to reach the women’s singles plate final at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham on Tuesday. Kuruvilla won the semi-final with a scoreline of 11-2, 11-4, 11-5. The 23-year-old will face Mary Fung-A-Fat, who beat Pakistan’s Amna Fayyaz 3-2, on Wednesday. Earlier, Saurav Ghosal lost in men’s singles semi-final.
