Actress Ratna Pathak Shah has said that there was an ugliness to the star system during the 1970s when she was growing up in the way stars were treated. “The stars were pretty obnoxious…in the way they behaved and they were all poor performers. And they were all cruising on I don’t know what,” the actress added.
