SC issues notice to MS Dhoni in arbitration proceedings against Amrapali group

The Supreme Court has stayed arbitral proceedings initiated by ex-India captain MS Dhoni against Amrapali group of companies, now a defunct real estate firm for which Dhoni was the brand ambassador, over some financial dispute. Issuing a notice to Dhoni, the apex court requested Justice Veena Birbal “to hold her hands” and not proceed with the arbitration.
