Banking, internet services disrupted in Canada as Rogers faces network outage

A major outage of Canadian telecom provider Rogers’ mobile and internet networks on Friday disrupted banking services across the country. “Our technical teams are working hard to restore services as quickly as possible,” the firm said on Twitter. This is the second major outage to hit one of the biggest telecom providers in Canada in 15 months.
