Vandana Katariya scored in the 28th minute as India held England to a 1-1 draw in their women’s hockey World Cup 2022 opener on Sunday. Katariya’s equaliser came 19 minutes after England’s Isabelle Petter opened the scoring. India will next face China in their Pool B clash on Tuesday. The World Cup is being held in Spain and Netherlands.
