India beat Argentina 2-1 in a shootout at Women’s Pro Hockey League

India beat champions-elect Argentina 2-1 in a shootout in the first match of the two-legged FIH Women’s Pro League tie in Rotterdam on Saturday. Gurjit Kaur’s penalty corner conversion in the 51st minute helped India to level the score at 3-3 in the regulation time. Notably, this is India’s first win of any kind against Argentina in women’s hockey.
