Buildings of violence-accused bulldozed in UP after protests over Prophet remarks

Buildings of those accused of violence during recent protests over remarks on Prophet Muhammad were demolished in UP’s Kanpur and Saharanpur on Saturday. In Kanpur, parts of a building owned by businessman Mohammad Ishtiyaq, a relative of ‘key conspirator’ Hayat Zafar Hashmi, were demolished. In Saharanpur, the houses of two of the accused, Muzammil and Abdul Waqir, were razed.
