An 18-year-old gunman opened fire at a supermarket in the US city of Buffalo, killing 10 people and wounding three others. The authorities have described the mass shooting as “racially motivated violent extremism”. The attacker had live-streamed the mass shooting on Twitch. Police said he shot at 11 Black victims and two who were white before surrendering to police.
