An Egyptian army spokesman on Saturday said that 11 soldiers were killed after clashing with a group of terrorists who attacked a water-lifting station east of the Suez Canal. “The terrorist elements are being chased and besieged in one of the isolated areas in Sinai,” he added. Five others were also injured during the clash, the spokesman further said.
