Nearly 6,000 foreign migrants detained in Mexico in 4 days

Mexico’s National Migration Institute (INM) on Monday said nearly 6,000 foreign migrants were detained in Mexico in four days. The INM said the majority of the 5,688 migrants that were detained from April 21 to 24 were found in trailers, safe houses or hidden in truck cabins or bus compartments. Over 1,000 of the migrants detained were from Honduras.
