Russian shelling on Chernihiv continues despite claims of scaling back: UK

Russian missile strikes and shelling on Ukraine’s Chernihiv city continue despite Moscow saying it intends to scale back military activity in that area, the UK Defence Ministry said. The ministry also warned, “heavy fighting” will likely take place in the suburbs of Kyiv in the coming days as Russian troops maintain positions to the east and west of the city.
