The Gujarat Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Bill, 2023 was passed in the state Assembly with a full majority. An examinee convicted of an offence under this Act shall be debarred from any public examination for two years. According to the Act, ₹1 crore fine and up to 10 years of imprisonment will be imposed for leaking question papers.
