Netflix’s exit from Russia, inflation caused its slowdown: Co-CEO

Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos has said there are multiple factors behind the streaming service’s slowdown, including inflation’s impact on household budgets, a decline in smart TV sales and its departure from Russia. “Every customer is asking the question of the value of a subscription in relation to its cost,” he said. Notably, Netflix lost 2,00,000 subscribers in Q1 2022.
